Lesbian Action Group has been to Court in Melbourne to reclaim a lesbian-only space for a Pride event.

In 2023, the Lesbian Action Group (LAG) initiated legal challenges after being denied permission by the Victorian Pride Centre to host an event for "lesbians born female." This action spurred a campaign to reclaim and rebuild spaces for the biological lesbian community, which the group contends has been marginalized since the early 2000s.
